JUROR: Joseph Givens, faculty of Louisiana State University College of Art & Design
ELIGIBILITY: Artists must be 18 years or older and reside in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas or Missouri.
ELIGIBLE WORK: Artwork in all traditional art forms will be accepted including paintings, original prints, fiber art, ceramics, sculpture, and photography. All components must be affixed, no separate parts. ASC cannot accept video, performance, or installation works. Only original artworks by the entering artist will be accepted; no reproductions will be accepted. Entries must have been completed within the past three years. ASC may refuse to exhibit any work that does not comply with the juried image or which ASC feels is unsuitable for display.
ENTRY SPECIFICATIONS: Two-dimensional entries may not exceed 70” x 70” and must be no smaller than 8” x 10” framed. All two-dimensional work must be framed and/or ready for display. Works on paper must be framed and glazed. Three-dimensional entries may not exceed 30 lbs. and 30” x 30”.
FEES: Fee is $20 per entry. Maximum of five entries per artist. Please make checks payable to The Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas or submit payment by debit/credit card via ASC701.org.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Online: Submit entry forms and payment at ASC701.org. Email images to asmith@ASC701.org. Mail: Entry forms, payment, and images (on CD) can be mailed to: Arts & Science Center Rosenzweig Entry 701 S. Main St. Pine Bluff, AR 71601 Images must be JPEG format, minimum 300 DPI resolution, and identified by artist’s last name and (unique) title of work. CDs will not be returned; images may be used for marketing and exhibition-related publication.
PRICE/VALUE: ASC charges 30% commission on all sales from the Rosenzweig Exhibition. The listed sales prices must include the commission. If the artwork is not for sale, print NFS, but a value is still required.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA: ASC reserves the right to photograph and reproduce all works accepted into the exhibition for educational and media purposes.
SHIPPING: Each artist is responsible for the cost of transporting artwork to and from ASC. Artists whose work is accepted for the exhibition will receive instructions for shipping or hand-delivering work.
LIABILITY: ASC does not insure artworks in this exhibition while on display or while in transit to and from ASC. Artists are encouraged to carry their own insurance. ASC, its staff, and its volunteers are not responsible for loss or damage to artworks in this exhibition however the damage may be caused. The entrant’s submission of the entry form constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions.
