Material Collection for North Beach Street Public Art Project

 

Fort Worth Public Art and Christopher Fennell need your help!

 

Do you have any of the following items?

Metal Baseball Bats

Metal Hubcaps

Metal Birdhouses

Metal Trashcans

Bicycles

Metal Mailboxes

Shovel Heads

Car & Truck Bumpers

Lawnmower Blades

Chain-link Fencing

Fence Posts

Automotive Leaf & Coil Springs

Airplane Wings

 

Artist Christopher Fennell will use these items to create twelve kinetic animal weather vanes. These sculptures will be located along the median of North Beach Street from Shiver Road to Timberland Boulevard. For more information about this project visit: www.fwpublicart.org

Thanks to a partnership between Fort Worth Public Art and the Code Compliance Department, you can bring your items to these locations. Also, look for announcements of upcoming community collection events. An area specifically for artwork materials is available at both drop-off centers. Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Sunday
