Methodist Richardson Medical Center is looking for an artist for its Artist-in-Residence program.
This is a part time position that works with our patients at the Cancer Center. The artist is responsible for finding a variety of projects that patients can do as they undergo treatment.
These projects help put patients as ease during what can be a difficult journey. But, these projects are so much more than just a distraction, they often ease anxiety, which in turn can affect their outlook and overall well-being.
Our former artist-in-residence worked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but the schedule is flexible.
If you know someone who might be, please pass this information on.
